Steve and Diana's role reversal was prominent in the film's first teaser as the former looks around curiously while the latter patiently explains things that he may have not seen before. Aside from this, it's curious how else Wonder Woman 1984
Regardless of their individual changes, it's safe to assume that their love story will be at the center of Wonder Woman 1984. Pine and Gadot's chemistry in the first film was so electric and was one of its strongest points, so it made sense that Jenkins is building on that. The question is, how things will work out for them this time. Fans know from contemporary DCEU movies that Diana is still mourning the loss of her beloved, so it's possible that the couple is once again headed for another heartbreaking separation.
