General settings on IQ Option
There are several things you can change in the platform settings on IQ Option. The adjustments will simplify the process of trading for you. But first, you need to access the settings. To do that, click on the profile icon on the top and then select the “Settings” tab or find a small settings icon at the bottom of the platform.

Appearance
You will then see a list of what you can modify. On top of the list, there is the appearance. Here you can set your time zone, the language of the interface, choose one of the available themes and interface scales.

Here you can also change which items from your menu and how they are displayed. When you scroll down you can adjust almost any visible element of the platform. You are able to turn on candle information on hover (OHLC) or hide account balance. At the bottom, you will find the advanced settings where it is possible to reduce the FPS (frames per second). Doing that you allow running IQ Option platform on older hardware.
Trading
Below the appearance, you will find the “Trading” tab. Here you have the possibility to enable the trade completion for both, binary and digital options. Then you can select for which assets you want to open and close the positions without confirmation and whether you wish the same settings to apply for your demo account. You can also choose how your opened transactions data are displayed on the asset tab.

Keyboard shortcuts
Here you can view the list of possible keyboard shortcuts and decide which ones you would like to use. Knowing and using them makes your trading process much faster. We highly recommend learning a few shortcuts. It is much easier to navigate through data on your chart.

Notifications
Choose the notifications you wish to receive. There are plenty to choose from. Check only those which are useful on a daily basis for you. Having them all checked may be disturbing in the long run.

Privacy
In the last tab, you can customise what kind of information will be visible to the public. You can use your own name or create a new one. You choose if you want to show your assets and trades to the others.
