The original version of The Thinker was created in DC Comics all the way back in 1943 as a Flash villain. Clifford DeVoe was a member of the Injustice Society before joining the Suicide Squad, with the title then being passed down Cliff Carmichael, and then Des Connor before becoming an A.I. While comic readers are well-aware of who The Thinker is, the character recently made his live-action debut during The Flash
With The Thinker's presence in The Suicide SquadThe Suicide Squad too, but that will require him to survive his debut, which is far from a guarantee given the team's premise. Given The Thinker's familiarity with The Flash, perhaps he could even return in the upcoming solo movie or a potential sequel.
