In 2019, Disney bought 20 th Century Fox, who owned the film rights to Wolverine and the X-Men. Since then, Marvel Studios, also owned by Disney, has likely been on how to incorporate the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has announced the X-Men will join the MCU, he has been vague on details regarding the new iteration of the team. Without any further developments, fans have been left to speculate on who could fill the role of Wolverine.
